We are so excited that you will be renewing your membership with us for 2026 and continuing to volunteer with your fur friend! Thank you for making such a positive impact on our organization and our communities.
Benefits of membership renewal:
- A tax receipt will be issued for your membership
- Instant subscriber to our regular newsletters with photos, videos, progress updates, event information and more!
- Invited to member appreciation events
- Eligibility to vote on Pets and Friends policies and programs at our AGMs
- For pet therapy teams, 3rd party liability insurance during sanctioned pet therapy visits (at your assigned facility and events offered by Pets and Friends)
Please note: All pet therapy teams must be members in good standing to volunteer with Pets and Friends.
- Membership aligns with the calendar year and expires annually on January 1.
- Membership must be renewed before the expiry date.
Unable To Volunteer in 2026
If you are no longer volunteering as a pet therapy team, please let Rachel know (rachel@petsandfriends.org) so we can update your file and ensure your previous partner facility is back on our list of places needing a team.
Resuming Visits in 2026
If you haven't volunteered in the past 12 months but think you're ready to resume your visitations, please contact us, as we will have to re-register you and your pet!
